The Hudson River flows through the very heart of who I am. I have lived near the Hudson all my life, enjoying every aspect and experience it has brought to me. Whether it has been kayaking and hiking, or working to preserve the river itself, the Hudson implanted its essence in my heart. The energy of the water and beauty of the shoreline has found its mark in my art for many years.

Throughout the 30 years of teaching art in Glens Falls, I was always in the mix of working with new and different ideas and media but the river was a constant—a constant that is responsible for the admiration of beauty found in this world.
