Multiple Award winning El Paso Texas Artist. Design, Decorative and Mixed Media Studio Artist. Spent a lifetime creating. Originally a tradesman restoring historic homes in Savannah GA. where she also attended college. She traveled
across the country and world as an Army child and spouse, exposing herself to
a rich cultural and artistic environment. Her travels have effectively inspired
her and are seen in her eclectic art style. The colors and heavy brush strokes
found in her paintings are inspired by her favorite artist, Van Gogh, and her
love of nature and textures are clear in her mixed media sculpture paintings.
After a major traumatic brain injury that left her permanently disabled with left hearing loss, blindness, partial
paralysis and atrophy, Heather mastered being one handed and restructured her career. She blended her
construction and restoration skills with her art, and this union expanded her talent. A true artist of all mediums,
she specializes in unique originals, mixed media sculpture paintings, and restoration, with a focus on re-purposing
and staying green.
She has been a member of several art associations, and her work has been featured in gallery shows
around the country. She tirelessly volunteers her time to support the public Arts in multiple States.
Her involvement in the arts include, numerous gallery installations, teaching classes and workshops,
and framing works of art. These efforts have channeled her focus in the Fine Arts. Her accomplishments
have left Created Murals, Art Pieces, and Permanent Art in many of the States she's lived; including,
Savannah GA, Fort Leonard Wood MO, Fairbanks AK, Washington DC, and Montgomery County MD.
