I’m intense, and so is my art. 

My paintings are bold & bright abstract geometric shapes, the underlying building blocks of everything we see. They communicate both vibrant energy and peaceful calm. 

I spent 18 years living in Africa and its earthiness, colors, designs and rhythms have shaped me. 

While in Africa, I helped people value their identity through their languages. Every person has a unique contribution to make—including me! 

I use oil and cold wax in thick layers, smoothed to a silky finish with a palette knife. I start with color, then find the shapes, and when everything is in balance, I build the layers. And then I might carve into the paint to make it truly 3-D. 

I know it’s done when it shouts at me.
