“My paintings are of scenes which have some special emotional impact for me. Often they are from landscapes I see around Taos, New Mexico, or the Western United States. Ancient trees and boulders, melting adobes, and canyons capture my attention. In my studio, the watercolor takes on a life of its own and I respond to it. Utilizing striking colors and bold forms brings life to my paintings.” -Jinx Wright.
