Grant Pound works in paint, printmaking, and design. His background in graphic design informs his sense of order, color, image hierarchy, type, and composition. He also worked in wildlife biology and the sciences have never been peripheral to his ideas. 

His current work reflects the world we live in by using imagery, abstraction, humor, and color. Through the humor one can glimpse the dissatisfaction with the way humans behave on this planet. Even in the abstract work one can find these elements emerging.
