Seana Reilly works in liquid graphite as a means to explore the play between nature and our intellectualized accounts of nature. Her paintings are directly influenced by her years working in the field of architecture, as well as by an interest in philosophy and the earth sciences. She has an upcoming fellowship at the Vennont Studio Center and is a recipient of a 2012 Idea Capital grant. Her work is in the collection of the High Museum of Art.
