I am an art quilter, as well as a traditional quilter. I love color and fabric and the challenge of using fabric as paint to create works of art. I've been making quilts since 1999 and art quilts since 2006. My work is reflective of my surroundings in rural midwest Georgia. As a registered introvert, I love the quiet countryside and landscapes are often the subject of my work. Old structures that recall the past appeal to my love of history and if it's rusty or in need of repair, it's even more interesting.
