For more than three decades, François Michel Beausoleil has created original, site-specific artworks for private collectors, luxury residences, hospitality environments, healthcare facilities, corporate interiors, and public spaces throughout North America.
Working closely with clients, interior designers, architects, and art consultants, he develops one-of-a-kind commissions that respond to the unique architecture, atmosphere, and purpose of each space. Every project begins with a collaborative design process, transforming the client's vision into a distinctive artwork tailored in scale, color palette, materials, and concept.
Beausoleil's signature mixed-media technique combines alternating layers of Resin, Acrylic, and Oil Paint with Swarovski and Preciosa Crystals, Gold Leaf, Silver Leaf, Glitter, and Semi-Precious Stones. These carefully selected materials create remarkable depth and luminosity, allowing each artwork to evolve as natural and artificial light interact with its surface throughout the day.
At the heart of his work is the concept of The Holographic Universe—the idea that every individual element reflects and is connected to a greater whole. Drawing inspiration from architecture, history, spirituality, and diverse cultural traditions, his layered compositions explore memory, human experience, and the invisible connections that unite people, places, and the universe itself. Through changing light, reflective materials, and multiple layers of imagery, each artwork invites viewers to pause, discover new perspectives, and reflect on their place within a larger interconnected world.
Every commission is conceived not only as a work of art, but as an integral part of its environment—enhancing the character of a space while creating a meaningful, enduring experience for those who live, work, or gather there.
