“Soft Entry 2” is a handwoven doorway curtain made of fibers that allow air and light to flow freely between rooms while the door is open. When hung from the top of a door frame the weaving acts as a portal leading into a room. Woven of cotton with wool inlay representing twelve smaller portals, the textile is inspired by traditional Japanese “noren” curtains.
