Patti Pease Johnson creates in various mediums: dye on silk, soft pastel, watercolor, acrylic, clay, metal and natural fibers. After 20 years, she recently retired from teaching art at various island locations. She has had home and fashion accessory lines in galleries throughout Hawaii, which spreads her artwork around the world.
She’s had nine solo exhibitions, been in numerous juried shows, and has been curator of four major multiple artist exhibits. A previous long-time volunteer for art organizations, Mrs. Johnson is mainly a self-taught artist who relishes taking intensive art workshops.
Her gratefulness extends deeply to her parents for instilling the art of noticing nature's greatness.
