A young whale swam beneath me in clear blue water using the thin stream of air bubbles coming from her blowhole as a paint brush. She traced spirals of shimmering silvery bubbles rising through the water to create a three dimensional sculpture that could be seen only by her, and by me. As she worked, she rolled on her side to look upward at what she was creating. The whale was the artist, and I only captured one slice of her work, as she was creating in 4 dimensions, including time - and my camera could only record in two dimensions.
