A series of mixed mediums on watercolour paper and photography. Part of preliminary work for large scale paintings on canvas starting in 2027.

In 2002 a small body photography series was made of floral images which in 2009 became a base for abstract work. What started as abstract paintings on canvas progressed to 3 dimensional paintings and installations. Recently in 2025, Coyle started photographing water and is currently using these images to continue making abstract art in studio made oil paint and alternative surfaces.
