Ed grew up in the Sacramento valley near North Highlands of Sacramento. His diverse background includes operating a feed store and custom feed manufacturing company as well as having one man shows for his ceramic works in San Fransisco. His college courses were focused on art including paintings and ceramics. Ed was fortunate to have xxx and xxx as instructors. After retirement Ed focused on painting. Starting with exploring airbrush on unusual canvases such as suede. Later he moved to acrylic on raw canvass with hand built frames. Ed enjoys bringing life to mundane scenes through color. He resides in Citrus Heights supporting the art community by donations to the City of his works and participating and supporting local art events.
