Art can certainly pull you into it's moods as color and shapes move and flow across the canvas. It can stir in us wonderful sensory memories, making us remember just how we felt and experienced a particular moment in time. These pieces primarily use trowelling to move and flow colors across the canvas, stirring thoughts and feelings in each viewer.
The last two steps in the process of experimentation and invention of my paintings are Studies and then full sized pieces. My studies are full fledged pieces of art though typically smaller than my other works. As these are studies in technique, color or product type, they can give birth to some wonderful, whimsical and unusual paintings.
