Blue Flowers on Squares

Blue Flowers on Squares, 2017

Cotton fabrics, machine sewing, fussy-cut flowers

42 x 42 cm

€175

Available

Here I combined the traditional patchwork squares used in dark to light pattern with a modern twist. The blue flowers are fussy cut and fused onto the surface. I then hand stitched decorative chain stitches to add texture and interest to the overall design. Finally I machine stitched with a suitable decorative stitch on the binding.
