This artwork is one of my favorite small designs. The background fabric is a hand painted abstract cotton and the various shapes are hand painted silk scraps from some other art fabric. I highlighted the different shapes with machine stitching. One of the really intuitive designs that apparently pleased a friend who immediately bought it for her dining room.
