Debbi Estes lives in King City, Oregon. She began exploring art in preparation for retirement from the family business. Works of art, as they manifest their visions and personalities, become powerful statements about our world. Some pieces become prayers.
Debbi expresses her deep love of color and themes of spirit in a painterly form of collage. She plays with color, form and flow in works of alcohol ink. Debbi often articulates intuitive thoughts, prayers, hopes and dreams through digital collage. She continues to learn and explore other art forms, including acrylic and watercolor.
Debbi has traveled extensively and collected art for over 40 years. Travel has provided opportunity to explore major museums throughout the U.S., Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, and much more.
Debbi is largely a self taught artist. She has had the honor to learn via workshops with Andrea Matus Demeng, a Canadian collage/assemblage artist; Finnabair, an international artist from Poland; Rogene Manas, Eugene, Oregon; and more. She is currently studying with Susan Curington, an acrylic artist from Gaston, OR.
