Daryl Zang (b.1971 New York, NY) is a representational artist who combines her traditional training with close-cropped compositions to create colorful oil paintings that reflect her own experiences and follow the trajectory of her life. Her work presents a female perspective of family, childhood, and home while exploring the stages of life we progress through, our changing relationships with each other, and our evolving vision of ourselves.
Zang earned a BFA from Syracuse University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts with additional study in Florence, Italy. Her paintings have been exhibited across the United States and have been included in exhibitions at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art (WI), the Helen Day Art Center (VT), and in solo exhibitions at The Bing Art Center (MA), The Michele and Donald D’Amour Museum of Fine Art (MA), and St. Peter’s Church (New York, NY). She is included in the Lunar Codex Collection and the Bennett Collection of Women Artists (San Antonio, TX). Her work has been published in Art Seen Magazine, Create! Magazine and Fine Art Connoisseur. Daryl Zang currently lives and works in Connecticut, USA.
