Proud Quebecoise, Danièle is originally from Montreal, Canada. Ethnic background French / Greek. Daniele’s formative art years started at fifteen at the Montreal Museum art school and followed up by the Beaux Arts school now became UQUAM. She worked as a graphic designer in the 70's and went to study in the 80's.

Issue from a long lineage of visual artists: religious sculptor, art curator, archaeologist faithful to her heritage, after graduating in Fine Arts she then took a degree in Anthropology and travelled the world while keeping up with her art. Her artworks are rich and have unique narrative full of life experiences. Her passion is seen in her energetic gestural drawings and her unique palette testified of her understanding of light. Her works are powerful, spontaneous and free showing her interest in life and human beings.
