Thom Whipp began creating art at a very young age, first with drawing and painting and then pen/ink drawing, jewelry making, sculpture, woodworking and creative building. Attending the Pacific Northwest College of Art and living in Oregon for most of his life fueled his artistic passions for nature, flora and fauna, landscapes and water. He loves working with the many varieties of local hardwoods and crafting dynamic mosaics from their natural colors and grain patterns. Thom has had commissions for many specialized wood installations including custom doors, pergolas, lofts, furniture and benches. He currently resides near Creswell, Oregon.
