Andy was born in Europe in 1957 to civilian employees of the American government. His early exposure to a multitude of diverse cultures fostered a lifelong appreciation of the Arts. After a stint in the Army he enrolled at the University of Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art. In 1984 Andy made the pilgrimage to Eugene and has lived in the area ever since. After working various diverse jobs including Skookum and WOW Hall he was hired as the Caretaker of the OCF from 1998-2016. During that time he created many of the large public art installations at Faire. He currently lives next door with his wife Tulsi, where they run the non-profit Dodeca Art Farm.
