Tiny Hero gets its name from a small figure-like appearance within the black and white section of the painting. In that area there appears to be a small rodent or raccoon-like figure fighting off shadow warriors. The painting remains abstract but this visual cue gives it a story hiding inside the surface. The small figure is not large or dominant yet it becomes the emotional center once noticed. The surrounding forms create the sense of something closing in while the tiny figure appears to hold its ground. That is where the title comes from. Tiny Hero is about the small shape that carries the fight a little defender caught inside the larger movement of the painting.
