MAIN DESCRIPTION
Crossroads of Chaos is a one-of-one original abstract painting by JD Hecht of Creatively Cutz Studio. Created with Acrylic On Canvas, this piece is part of the studio’s Studio Select Collection.
Crossroads of Chaos comes from an early stage of process exploration when the painting was built through taped sections and layered passes. Areas were blocked off painted uncovered and then taped again so already-painted sections could be protected while the rest of the work developed. That method gives the piece its sense of interruption and collision. The composition carries the evidence of decisions made in stages where each section responds to what came before it. The title fits the process: separate paths of color and structure meeting crossing and competing within the same surface. The painting holds the energy of experimentation. Crossroads of Chaos is not only about the final image but about the way it was constructed: one taped boundary one revealed section one new layer at a time.
