Cosmic Meringue combines deep burgundy gold teal maroon turquoise and white in a swirling abstract composition. White rounded forms emerge throughout the painting creating contrast against the darker and richer color movement around them. The title comes through in the meeting of space-like color and confection-like white forms. The painting does not settle into one reading; it moves between a cosmic field and a playful textured surface where the white forms twist and tumble through the surrounding color.
