Boundless Future, the 2022 Healing Arts Exhibition at Houston Methodist, focuses on possibilities without limitations. Dreams, reflections, visualizations offer us opportunities to see infinite potential ahead. Among the images presented a viewer may see a duality of vision – shadows are paired with brightness and a sign of hope. Boundless Future is epitomized in the numerous species of flora and fauna in the environment; in the waters of the bayous, rivers, and oceans; or in the clouds and stars of the heavens above us. These photographs are representative interpretations of Houston Methodist’s ICARE values as experienced while focusing on the inspiration of the natural world. Enjoying the bountiful night sky, the dynamic rhythms of the seacoast or the peaceful revelations of fields and forests gives credence and promise for abundant prospects as we envision the future.
