R. Skip Kohloff along with Lisbeth Neergaard Kohloff moved CPAC to 1513 Boulder Street in Denver’s Highlands neighborhood in the 90's, sharing space with the Carol Keller Gallery beginning  seven years of intense activity begins under their leadership. In 2006 R. Skip Kohloff retired after 19 years as president. He and his wife, Lis, leave the board, having served 27 and 24 years respectively. CPAC transitions to a center-without-walls run by a volunteer Board of Directors. He said about his work, "My hope was to communicate a sense of the familiar while sustaining a vague recollection as if in a passing perception or reverie; an intangible that exists in our minds and soul…even if for just an occasional fleeting moment."
