Bernie Faingold (1914-2006) was an American photographer whose Denver, Colorado studio was located in the Hilton Hotel. During their 23 years at the Denver Hilton, Faingold and his wife photographed some of the most important political figures and Hollywood celebrities of their time.  This formal studio photograph of the great civil rights leader standing behind a chair is inscribed, "Best Wishes/ Martin Luther King". On verso is the Faingold Studios photographer's copy stamp.
