About the artist

William Accorsi

1931-2021

William Accorsi was an American folk artist. He primarily worked with wood, wire, beads, and buttons. He was awarded two solo exhibitions at the American Craft Museum in New York. He also wrote several children's books, notably the "10 Button Book." His art varies from toy-like mobiles to erotic pieces, all of which are colorful.
