Eddie Lee has been making prints for over 25 years. He started out as a letterpress printer, and has been printing with linoleum cut, soft point, and monotype techniques for the past several years. Most recently Mr. Lee has developed a new technique, using sheet magnets.
Lee's work explores human emotion as he tries to capture moments of connection and sometime ventures into the idea of greater social conditions. He frequently incorporates musical motives into his prints expressing rhythm, scale, phases, and tones through proportion and color.
