Dana Zed has been creating and exhibiting glass artwork for over 40 years in the San Francsico Bay Area. Her work is included in the Oakland Museum, CA The de Young Museum CA and the Takoma Museum, WA. She has done numerous private commissions and one public commission for the San Francisco Public Library. Zed also works in painting and intaglio etching. Additionally Dana writes fiction, swims laps, bicycles cross country and teaches. She has two grown children, maintains a studio in Oakland nine months of the year and often travels to other countries in the summer.
