Contemporary life overwhelms the senses with chatter. I create sculptural “solutions”—philosophical prostheses that extend the wearer’s capacity for relational knowing. They propose alternative modes of attention, attunement, and exchange between the body and its environment, inviting curiosity, wonder, and a heightened experience of the present moment.

"Awareness Integration Apparatuses" consists of wearable sculptures that engage the body’s energy centers as sites of transmission, resistance, and amplification. Meticulously fabricated from conductive metals and insulating materials such as felted fiber—often made from my beloved dog’s fur—these works operate as both antennae and barriers. They function as coping mechanisms—literal, figurative, or symbolic, suggesting the body can be tuned: opened or protected, sensitized or shielded through direct engagement with these specific, hand-built instruments.

Might liminal experiences such as epiphany, euphoria, or the sublime be attracted or repelled with the right antenna? Can a body be insulated from corrosive external forces, or amplified by what already burns within?
