Art has always been part of Cheryl’s life, painting & drawing as a child was her passion. Her formal art education began at McEwan University where she graduated from the Graphic Design program in 1993. Working as an advertising artist helped develop her skills in the production of printable art. In 1993 she started Grizzly Graphics & Illustration in Jasper and enjoyed 15 years of creating artwork for the businesses and residents of this mountain community.
About 15 years ago she returned to creating her own style of visual art, which is to express the natural beauty of our western canadian landscape. The textures, shapes, colours & patterns in nature inspire her to put brush to canvas and bring her expression of nature’s beauty to the viewer.
Cheryl currently resides with her husband & labradoodle on Shuswap Lake in the small community of Blind Bay, BC.
