Welcome to the new art exhibition at Children’s Hospital Colorado- Boundless Inspiration. This show is all about sharing the creativity and individuality of our local Black arts community in conjunction with the hospital’s celebration of Black History Month.

Colorado has a rich history of Black and African American cultural influence from the jazz greats who played here, to extensive libraries and museums, to modern dance performances and arts festivals. The artists you see in this exhibition continue this grand tradition.

What does it mean to be boundless? It is limitless, abundant, and full of infinite possibility.

Bienvenidos a la nueva exhibición de arte en Children’s Hospital Colorado - Boundless Inspiration [Inspiración ilimitada]. Este espectáculo se trata principalmente de compartir la creatividad y la individualidad de nuestra comunidad local de artes afroamericanas junto con la celebración del Mes de la Historia Afroamericana en el hospital.

Colorado tiene una rica historia de influencia cultural afroamericana, desde los grandes del jazz que tocaron aquí, hasta extensas bibliotecas y museos, espectáculos de danza moderna y festivales de arte. Los artistas que verá en esta exposición continúan con esta gran tradición.

¿Qué significa ser ilimitado? Significa no tener límites, ser abundante y lleno de posibilidades infinitas.

About the artist

Moe Gram

Moe Gram is a visual artist, designer, and community engagement leader based in Denver, Colorado. She has a degree in visual arts and cultural studies from California State University Bakersfield and a focus in Museum Studies from CSU Firenze in Florence, Italy.

Gram's work blends artistic expression with social impact. She is known for her large murals, creative installations, and projects that bring people together through art. Her work explores themes like self-understanding, compassion, memory distortion, and community connection. She has shown her work in galleries and public spaces, including murals at major festivals and a solo exhibit at the University of Northern Colorado.

In addition to creating art, Gram is passionate about arts education and community involvement. She has taught creative classes, worked on projects that encourage youth voting, and helped lead mural programs that strengthen community relationships and bring people together.

Acerca de Moe Gram
Moe Gram es una artista visual, diseñadora y líder de participación comunitaria con residencia en Denver, Colorado. Cuenta con una licenciatura en artes visuales y en estudios culturales de la Universidad del Estado de California Bakersfield y una concentración en Estudios Museísticos de la universidad CSU Firenze en Florencia, Italia.

La obra de Gram mezcla la expresión artística con el impacto social. Es conocida por sus murales de gran formato, instalaciones creativas y proyectos que unen a la gente a través del arte. Su obra explora temáticas como el entendimiento propio, la compasión, la distorsión de los recuerdos y la conexión comunitaria. Ha presentado su obra en galerías y en espacios públicos, lo cual incluye murales en festivales importantes y una exhibición propia en la Universidad del Norte de Colorado.

Además de crear arte, Gram es una apasionada de la educación artística y de la participación comunitaria. Ha impartido clases creativas, ha trabajado en proyectos que promueven el voto de los jóvenes, y ha ayudado a dirigir programas de muralismo que fortalecen las relaciones comunitarias y la unión de las personas.
