Boundless Inspiration

February 3, 2023 - April 14, 2023

Hamilton Gallery

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars, to change the world.” - Harriet Tubman

Welcome to the new art exhibition at Children’s Hospital Colorado- Boundless Inspiration. This show is all about sharing the creativity and individuality of our local Black arts community in conjunction with the hospital’s celebration of Black History Month.

Colorado has a rich history of Black and African American cultural influence from the jazz greats who played here, to extensive libraries and museums, to modern dance performances and arts festivals. The artists you see in this exhibition continue this grand tradition.

What does it mean to be boundless? It is limitless, abundant, and full of infinite possibility.
“Never be limited by other people’s imaginations” - Dr. Mae Jemison

Children's Hospital Colorado is grateful for your support and partnership. This exhibition would not be possible without the leadership of The Afrocentric Network (TAN) Children's Hospital Colorado's Black/African/African American Team Member Resource Group. Many of the pieces you see are for sale, the proceeds benefit our local creative community and Children’s Hospital Colorado. Check the art labels for more information.

Mae Jemison
