I live in the Colorado front range mountains with my husband and son. I have a personal connection to Children’s Hospital Colorado. My 7-year-old son and I both have type 1 diabetes. My photographs of my son and home utilize a technique called “multiple exposures” which takes two or more photographs on the same frame and layers them. These images represent blue skies, cool water, joy, and the ephemeral nature of life and childhood.
