These old, gorgeous barns face the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville, NC, USA. They are in danger of being torn down; the land is for sale and it's not certain they'll remain. I work with a conservation group, and we did a paint out to record the barns for posterity's sake. It was a beautiful morning where hours were spent capturing the extraordinary patina of the wood as well as the exceptional views. I hope they're protected.
