Birgitt Lübkemann is a German abstract artist living and working between the Seychelles and Germany. Her paintings are shaped by water, light, granite, movement and the invisible lines that connect people, places and inner landscapes.
Working with acrylic, oil, ink, granite dust, coconut oil and layered surfaces, she creates intuitive, process-based works that move between depth and lightness, structure and flow. Her practice is rooted in observation, material experimentation and a deep connection to nature.
Her works have been shown internationally, including in the National Gallery of Seychelles, Eden Art Space Gallery on Mahé, Berlin and Hanover.
