Ber Lazarus, (Leamington, Canada 1955), is a contemporary assemblage artist and sculptor known for his use of found material in creating work evocative of our post-industrial age. He received a BFA in Sculpture and Contemporary Aesthetics from Concordia University Fine Arts (Montreal) graduating with distinction in 1991. His work has been shown in many group and solo exhibitions in Canada, the United States, Israel and Europe. His signature work, Ex Libris: An Intimate Immensity, a series of bookwork installations, has won several awards and is found in several private collections. Lazarus is a member of The Israel Professional Visual Artists Association. He lives and works in Ramat Gan, Israel.
