About the artist

David Flores

David Flores was born in Southern Louisiana in 1985. In his work, he seeks to reclaim the beauty of tradition: be it the experiences of hunting; the natural glories of the Louisiana landscape, flora and fauna; or that of his religious traditions. These forms carry the weight of meaning, identity, and promised hope. David wishes to participate in the light of beauty cast by these forms.
