"Rouge Waves" is a vivid and dynamic seascape that captures a breathtaking portrayal of nature's raw power. Measuring 20 x 16 inches, this oil on canvas piece brings to life the majestic and tumultuous beauty of the ocean. The rolling waves, rendered in a captivating array of blue shades from light turquoise to deep navy, possess an almost sculptural quality. The artist’s use of thick, textured brushstrokes imbues the waves with a palpable sense of movement and energy, making the scene feel both alive and immediate.

Above the ocean, the sky provides a stunning backdrop, painted in a gradient of blue hues that accentuate the drama of the sea below. The cloud formations add an extra layer of depth and complexity to the composition, making the viewer feel as though they are standing on the shore, witnessing the scene firsthand. Inspired by the powerful presence of Lake Michigan, this artwork is not just a visual representation but an immersive experience, capturing the viewer’s imagination and transporting them to the heart of the ocean. The overall composition is energetic, engaging, and deeply evocative.
