Carlos Alejandro grew up in housing projects on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, attended the School of Performing Arts as a flute major, and graduated with a BA in Religion and Philosophy. For 40 + years, he has worked as a successful commercial photographer and fine artist.

To Carlos Alejandro, fine art photography is the expression of ideas and he has been expressing those ideas for over four decades. Through his camera’s lens, Alejandro documents the importance of humanity and culture and the stories that need to be told.
