Artsumex is a collective of artists and craftspeople from Tultepec, Mexico, a town just outside Mexico City responsible for 50% of the country's fireworks production. Artsumex is one of several workshops who each year design and build these intricately decorated and meticulously engineered parading sculptures. Led by the infectious energy and creativity of Amauri Urban, Artsumex has brought innovative expansion to the art form.
