Ruth Robertson is a listed artist best known for her black and white photographs of nudes although she is also well known for her mixed media works and paintings. Her work has been sold worldwide through Sotheby’s and can be found in galleries throughout the Eastern United States. Nominated twice for the Whitney Biennial, Robertson’s work is in the permanent collections of museums in both North and South America, as well as in private collections globally. She has held solo shows throughout the Americas, including at The Museum Of Contemporary Art in DC.

Ruth is a master of the darkroom, alternative processes, printmaking and a gifted painter. Her work occasionally includes all of these techniques. Her inspirations include renaissance masterpieces and artists like Man Ray, Weston, Bernhard and Mapplethorpe.
