Qiu Zhen 邱震 (b.1976, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province). Known primarily for his series "My Bride and I", featuring self-portraits of the artist and a mannequin in various locations around Beijing.

Qiu Zhen’s My Bride and I is dreamlike, revealing a certain loneliness of being in a huge city. The bride, a mannequin, becomes an embodiment of his hopes and dreams. After two years in Beijing, the thin line between reality and surreality blurred. He could only express these feelings through photography.
