Erich Enders was a German graphic designer, artist, and photographer known for his creative work in the mid-20th century. Born in Schöneck, Vogtland in 1925, he studied at the Dresden Academy of Art and the Leipzig School of Arts and Crafts. His move from East to West Germany led to a sharply increased focus on his photography. He produced distinctive painterly photographs, including several series from the 1960s, alongside his art and ceramic works. He died in Frankfurt in 1992.
