Corn Queen is part of my Inner Stories series. As compared to traditional portraits, the Painting in this series reflect something about the person. In this case she is an artist who has one series of closeup Painting of multi-color corn. She is a masterful painter whatever the subject, but when I first met her, she happened to be in the middle of a series on Corn. She still cycles back to the series periodically adding new work to it. Getting the corn right in this painting took a lot of practice but was well worth the effort. My painting pays tribute to her and this series.
Arrived in a 38.4" X 26.4" Brush Silvery-Gold metal frame.
