Rimpo started to enter exhibitions outside Maryland in 2012. Since then, her paintings have been selected in nearly 100 national or international exhibitions. She has received a variety of awards including Excellence in Figurative, First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and Honorable Mentions. As a result of these exhibitions Rimpo has received Signature Status in 8 watercolor societies, including Signature Master Elite in the Baltimore Watercolor Society (BWS), and Signature Elite in the Watercolor Art Society of Houston (WAS-H). In addition, she has received Nautilus Fellow Status in the International Society of Experimental Art, and Signature Status in the International Society of Acrylic Artists. She has seven paintings published in North Light Books: five paintings in Best of Acrylic ( 2016, 2017, 2018) and two in Best of Watercolor (Splash19.) Rimpo’s painting, Percussion: A Serious Business is included in a Special Edition magazine The Best of Watercolor: Splash 21 Competition Winners, published in September 2020.
