A Place Between explores the quiet space between structure and movement, where color, line, texture, and light come together in unexpected ways. A softly layered blue and blush background creates an atmospheric setting for a collection of dimensional glass elements—each one individually fused and assembled to create a composition that feels both architectural and organic.
The piece includes a striking side glass tattoo, adding another layer of detail and interest beyond the front-facing composition.
Like all pieces in the Glasscapes series, transparent turquoise glass is placed on edge and painted with gold on top, creating the appearance of fine gold lines from the front while revealing the transparency and dimensionality of the glass from the side. The result is a piece that rewards a closer look—and changes subtly as you move around it.
A Place Between is designed to be experienced from more than one perspective: a meeting place of color and line, transparency and opacity, stillness and movement.
