Originally from Western NY, I attended school at The State University of New York at Buffalo, where I received a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Education. My course work focused primarily in Printmaking and Painting. Following some Graduate work in Education at Buffalo State College, I decided to refocus and return to making art. I attended The Worcester Center for Craft’s two year Professional Program in Ceramics; graduating in 1998. Shortly thereafter, I began working at The Worcester Art Museum in the education department as the studio staff assistant. During this time I also ran a gallery with a collaborative of eight artists call The Art Well. From 1999 to 2004, we hosted numerous exhibitions and began a local art group (wART) that would eventually become the inception of The stART in the Street festival. 

In 2001, I left the Worcester Art Museum to begin teaching high school ceramics at Hopkinton Public schools were I remained until 2018. Since teaching fulltime, I have continued to pursue my love of both painting and ceramics by maintaining a studio in Worcester. I continue to sell art through my website, social media and exhibitions locally and nationally.
