Light is something we don't think about until we don't have it or we can't be around it. I speak from experience as I have a sun allergy. I have to carefully monitor my time in the sun.

Thankfully, there are no restrictions on light in paintings! Light is a recurring theme in my work. The collection here represents different takes on how light feels in very different landscapes and perspectives. Perhaps because light is something I have to focus on so much in my life, it is something I reach for in my mixed media art again and again. It's hard to put down.
